Sebastien Ogier secured his ninth FIA World Rally Championship title, equaling Sebastien Loeb's record.

Ogier finished third at Rally Saudi Arabia, overcoming primary rival Elfyn Evans, who placed sixth and was four points short of the title. Ogier acknowledged the strong competition from Evans and others and expressed gratitude to his team and co-driver Vincent Landais.

Thierry Neuville won the rally, with Adrien Fourmaux finishing second despite a one-minute penalty. Martins Sesks, who had been leading, was forced to retire due to punctures and a turbo issue.

The 2026 season of the FIA World Rally Championship will start at Rallye Monte-Carlo.
