Scott McLaughlin has joined Johor Motorsports Racing for the Suzuka 1000. He will team up with Alexander Sims and Nicky Catsburg in a Corvette Z06 GT3.R in the Pro division.

 

 

Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim will share another car with Konsta Lappalainen in Pro-Am.

 

 

This marks McLaughlin's first major GT3 race since Daytona 24. McLaughlin expressed his excitement about racing at Suzuka and learning more about the Corvette.

 

 

This is the first time Johor Motorsports Racing has fielded an all-pro line-up in a GT3 endurance race.

 

 

Prince Jefri Ibrahim welcomed McLaughlin, highlighting the team's long-term plans with Chevrolet and Corvette Racing. The Suzuka 1000 is returning to the calendar and is part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
