Supercars CEO James Warburton issued a statement condemning abuse following the Adelaide Grand Final.

This statement came after Chaz Mostert defended his teammate Ryan Wood on social media.

Wood was involved in a crash and received a penalty, leading to negative comments and messages directed at him and his team. Mostert, a vocal advocate against online abuse, expressed his disappointment and anger over the excessive negativity.

Warburton's statement emphasized that while emotions and opinions are part of sport, personal abuse is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in Supercars or society.

The Track Hub too, condemn this behavior, the negativity we have seen on our own social platforms have been nothing short of disgusting and inappropriate.
