Lando Norris secured pole position at the Mexico City Grand Prix. Norris set a time of 1m15.586s, ahead of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.

Piastri qualified eighth, reporting power unit issues and will start seventh due to Sainz's penalty.

Norris expressed his delight, securing McLaren’s first pole in Mexico since 1990. Leclerc was happy to overcome grip issues, while Hamilton was excited to be in the top three.
