Courtney's Career To Continue?

James Courtney, nearing the end of his full-time Supercars career, is likely to continue racing as a co-driver in 2026. While considering TV roles and real estate, Courtney is being pursued for co-driving opportunities.

He is most likely to join Team 18, reuniting with Charlie Schwerkolt and Adrian Burgess, who were part of his 2010 championship win.

Courtney has a strong relationship with Burgess, who is the godfather to his Children. Team 18 will field three cars in next year’s endurance races.

Courtney's last Bathurst 1000 as a full-time driver is with co-driver Jack Perkins, a long-time friend with whom he has shared past successes.
