Cameron Waters led a Ford one-two-three in Practice 2 at the Gold Coast 500, which was interrupted twice.
Waters was followed by Ryan Wood and Kai Allen. Bryce Fullwood and Brodie Kostecki both crashed, causing red flag periods.
Kostecki apologized for the damage to his car, stating it was a small error. Will Brown finished 13th after hitting the wall.
Apex Hunters United have staked their claim of the Chevs having an unfair advantage to the fords (now that Bathurst is done and dusted). But in all fairness, the first session of the GC500 was completely even in the top ten. The second of practice sessions suggested that some of the top Camaro Drivers should hit something, whether it being a wall, tyre bundle, or both. That's Supercars Racing!
Qualifying for the Gold Coast 500 begins Saturday at 11am AEST, followed by the Top 10 Shootout and Race 1.
