Cadillac has confirmed Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas as their drivers for their Formula 1 debut in 2026. Both drivers were left without seats after the 2024 season and bring significant experience to the new team.
Bottas, who spent 2025 as Mercedes’ test driver, expressed excitement about building the team for long-term success.
Perez, formerly with Red Bull, sees this as an exciting new chapter and an opportunity to help build a team.
The announcement was made with a video featuring Keanu Reeves, who will host a documentary about the team.
Cadillac team principal Graeme Lowdon described the signings as a bold signal of intent, emphasizing the drivers' experience and leadership.
Cadillac's entry is highly anticipated, marking the first new team since Haas in 2016.
