Shane van Gisbergen finished 14th in the NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway, feeling he should have performed better despite his car struggling with rear grip in Stage 3. William Byron won the race, dominating over 300 laps and securing his spot in the Championship 4 by aggressively passing Ryan Blaney.

Blaney, who finished second, acknowledged Byron's move as fair and expressed pride in his team's effort despite not making the Championship 4. Chase Elliott finished third, and Ross Chastain placed fourth.
