Retro Seton!

Aaron Seton will debut in the Supercars Championship sprint round at the Townsville 500 with a livery honoring his father, Glenn Seton. His Matt Stone Racing Chevrolet Camaro features colors from the Ford Falcon that Glenn drove to win the 1993 Australian Touring Car Championship. These blue, red, and yellow colors originally represented the Philip Morris brand Peter Jackson, a supporter of Glenn Seton Racing. Aaron, born after his father raced in these colors, will use this retro livery for his Townsville and Ipswich wildcard appearances.

The car, sponsored by Superior Cranes, showcases vibrant colors aligned with a retro design, honoring classic racing and creating a standout visual on the track. Glenn Seton, a former Australian motorsport champion, will watch his son, Aaron Seton, race, highlighting their generational bond. The Chevrolet's livery, despite Ford roots, adds irony given the brands' historic rivalry.

Matt Stone's family ties to Dick Johnson Racing, a competitor to Glenn Seton, underscore the intertwined histories and competitive spirit of the Supercars Championship. This event is pivotal for Aaron Seton, marking his return to the Supercars main game in 2025 after an absence. It symbolizes hard work, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence, with Aaron racing for his family's legacy, his father's pride, and his supporters. The atmosphere is filled with anticipation as fans and competitors await this unique chapter in Australian motorsport history.
