Mostert Disqualified.

Chaz Mostert, driver for Walkinshaw TWG Racing, was disqualified from Saturday's race at the Dunlop Sydney 500. This disqualification occurred because the team failed to fit sensors to a set of rims used on Mostert's car during the first stint of the race.

Although the tires never fell below the minimum pressure, the team acknowledged their error and stated it has been rectified.

Mostert had originally finished 12th in the race.

Additionally, Walkinshaw performed an engine change on a sister car, and another engine change was made for Andre Heimgartner.
