Chaz Mostert secured a Supercars Finals Series Semi-Final spot with a victory at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500. Mostert started fourth, overcame early pit lane contact, and charged to the front.

He passed Kai Allen and David Reynolds to win, with Broc Feeney and Allen joining him on the podium.

Feeney is also locked into the Semi-Final based on points. Ryan Wood's championship hopes were damaged by a fuel leak.

Multiple safety car periods occurred due to signage issues and a tyre failure. Mostert overtook Waters and Feeney to take the lead and ultimately win the race.
