Marc Marquez Wins In Sepang...
Marc Marquez moved closer to his eighth premier-class title by securing a dominant victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang. Starting from second, Marquez took the lead early and finished over four seconds ahead of runner-up Pedro Acosta, while Alex Marquez finished third.
This win marks Marquez’s 80th career MotoGP victory and his third at this circuit. The result extends his championship lead to 44 points over Jorge Martin and 67 points over Marco Bezzecchi.
Marquez now has the opportunity to clinch the world championship at the upcoming Qatar Grand Prix, provided he meets specific points-scoring criteria against his closest title rivals. Behind the leaders, Ai Ogura secured fourth place following a late-race battle with Bezzecchi, while Jack Miller finished just outside the points in 16th.
