Lowndes To Team 18.

Team 18 and Chevrolet Racing announced a two-year deal with Craig Lowndes and Supercheap Auto for a Supercars endurance races wildcard entry starting in 2026. Lowndes, a Supercars champion and Bathurst 1000 winner, will drive a Chevrolet Camaro fielded by Team 18. The Supercheap Auto wildcard program will select a young rookie driver to partner with Lowndes.

Team 18 will lead the Team Chevy alliance in Supercars as the homologation partner. The team owner expressed pride in the program's potential to develop future Supercars stars.

Team 18 will host the Supercheap Auto Wildcard program, backed by Chevrolet Racing and Supercheap Auto, with Craig Lowndes as the driver.

The program aims to challenge at Bathurst and The Bend by pairing Lowndes with a rising star and assembling the right crew.
