Ludo Lacroix is leaving PremiAir Racing as his contract expires, with the team stating he is moving on to new opportunities.
Lacroix, a Supercars technical mastermind, admitted that the Gen3 regulations made him "less relevant" in the category.
• He explained that the new regulations, with more common parts, reduced the impact of his technical know-how compared to the past. Lacroix also mentioned the challenge of his 90-minute commute to the team's workshop.
He expressed that he would have liked to achieve more results for PremiAir and believes the team will improve under Roland Dane's leadership.
Lacroix hinted he might not be involved in the Supercars Championship next year, suggesting he has other things to do, including his son's go-karting.
