LeClerc Tops FP2 In Mexico...

Charles Leclerc topped the second practice session at the Mexico City Grand Prix, securing the fastest time for Ferrari for the fifth consecutive practice period. Lando Norris followed in second place, with George Russell taking third.
The session experienced a brief red flag after a collision between Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson in the stadium section, resulting in debris on the track. Lewis Hamilton also faced issues, stopping his car midway through the hour after reporting a loss of power, which left him in 11th place.
While some drivers struggled with grip and technical problems, teams utilized the remainder of the session to conduct qualifying simulations and gather data during longer runs. The field is scheduled to return to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on Saturday for the third practice session.
