Kostecki's 50k Adelaide opener.

Brodie Kostecki won the rain-shortened Supercars race at the BP Adelaide Grand Final, securing a $50,000 prize.

Kostecki, driving for Dick Johnson Racing, started fourth and overcame a qualifying crash to beat Chaz Mostert.

The race was red-flagged with ten laps remaining due to worsening conditions after Thomas Randle crashed.

Kostecki expressed happiness with his car's pace and his ability to win.

Mostert, who finished second, acknowledged Kostecki's speed and the challenging wet track conditions.

The race featured several incidents, including a spin by Will Brown and a 360-degree spin by James Golding.

Kostecki took the lead on Lap 3 after Broc Feeney locked up.

The race concluded under a red flag after Randle's crash, with Kostecki leading Mostert, Wood, and Feeney.
