Kostecki Claims Top Spot!

Brodie Kostecki secured provisional pole position for the Repco Bathurst 1000 in the #38 Dick Johnson Racing Ford Mustang.

He set a lap time of 2:04.0307s, narrowly beating Broc Feeney.

Kostecki described it as one of the best laps of his career.

Ryan Wood finished third, while Anton De Pasquale and rookie Cooper Murray also advanced to the Top 10 Shootout.

Will Brown was a noteworthy omission, finishing 12th. Will Davison, Kostecki's teammate, was 14th after grazing the wall.

Supercars action continues on Saturday with practice sessions and the Top 10 Shootout.
