Ford Australia will have a new President and CEO, Fadi Mawal, starting January 1, replacing Andrew Birkic who will move to Vice President, Sales and Service, Ford International Markets Group.
Mawal has been with Ford for 31 years, most recently as Chief Financial Officer, Ford International Markets Group.
Ford has invested significantly in Australian motorsport, including Supercars and a new Mustang Cup.
Toyota Australia is also undergoing leadership changes, with Sean Hanley transitioning from Vice President National Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations to Senior Executive Advisor.
Hanley is expected to continue his involvement with Toyota's Supercars entry, which will feature five Supras in the 2026 championship.
Toyota's motorsport involvement also includes the GR Cup and Scholarship Series.
