Dodge Set To Return To NASCAR Cup Series...

Dodge has officially announced its return to the NASCAR Cup Series starting in 2027. This move will be executed by Kaulig Racing, which will field a two-car team under the Dodge brand.
This addition restores the series to four competing manufacturers alongside Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota. The return follows Dodge's previous tenure in the sport from 2001 to 2012, which concluded with a championship victory.
NASCAR leadership highlighted the significance of this milestone and praised the collaborative efforts of Dodge and Stellantis. To expedite the entry, Dodge has secured a deal to use white-label engines from ECR, a move that received necessary approval from rival manufacturers.
Company leadership emphasized their commitment to a rapid development process rather than a traditional long-term planning cycle. While specific driver details are pending, an announcement is expected during the upcoming season finale weekend.
