Supercars has appointed Richard Craill as the new full-time lead TV commentator for the 2026 season. This follows a period of rotating commentators after the departures of Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife. Garth Tander, a familiar face in the Supercars community, will join the commentary box, bringing his insightful analysis and extensive experience as a former champion driver to enhance the viewing experience. Chad Neylon and Matt Naulty will continue to provide their unique perspectives and engaging commentary. Supercars plans to introduce guest commentators, including former champions, to offer fresh insights and diverse viewpoints. Talented commentator Craill will begin his permanent role at the NTI Townsville 500 in July, adding dynamic flair to the team and keeping fans engaged with Supercars racing.
