James Golding has been disqualified from the AirTouch 500 at The Bend after failing to meet the minimum lap requirements, causing him to lose his 10th-place position in the Supercars championship standings.
This disqualification has reignited the race for the final spot in the Supercars Finals Series heading into the Bathurst 1000. Jack Le Brocq currently holds the 10th position, but Andre Heimgartner, Thomas Randle, Jayden Ojeda, and Golding remain in close contention for the spot.
