Bates Gets Main Series Start.

Zach Bates will replace Nick Percat in Matt Stone Racing’s Bendix-backed Chevrolet Camaro next season. Bates, 21, will join team returnee Jack Le Brocq in the 2026 line-up.

Bates made his Supercars Championship debut in August and steps up after three years in the Super2 Series, where he won the 2024 title. Team owner Matt Stone praised Bates' maturity, speed, and attitude.

Bates expressed his excitement to join Matt Stone Racing and represent Bendix Racing in his rookie season. He is one of five rookies confirmed for the 2026 championship.
