Barry Ryan To Ride With Kostecki...
Erebus Motorsport boss Barry Ryan has purchased a hot lap alongside former driver Brodie Kostecki following a successful charity auction at the PPQ Legends Night. The event raised over $300,000 for Motorsport Ministries, an organization supporting industry members.
Ryan’s upcoming ride at Sandown marks a public reconnection with Kostecki, who left the Erebus team in 2024 following a high-profile rift. Despite his usual lack of interest in hot laps, Ryan emphasized the importance of moving past previous conflicts.
Other industry figures, including Supercars boss Barclay Nettlefold, also secured similar auction experiences. The charity event continues to be a key fixture for the sport, with plans already underway for the 2027 edition.
