Alonso Magic!

Fernando Alonso was fastest in the first free practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix, ahead of Charles Leclerc.

Alonso set a time of 1m31.116s on soft tyres, beating Leclerc and Max Verstappen. Drivers struggled with low grip early in the session.

Alonso initially led on medium tyres, later surpassed by Lando Norris, before Alonso reclaimed the top spot.

Lewis Hamilton was fourth, followed by Piastri and Norris. Alex Albon experienced a brake fire early in the session.
