James Warburton will depart as CEO of Supercars and be replaced by Barclay Nettlefold. The news was confirmed by Supercars, stating the decision was reached by mutual agreement.
Nettlefold, who is already Chairman of Racing Australia Consolidated Enterprises, will serve as interim CEO while the board searches for a permanent replacement.
Warburton expressed pride in the team's achievements and wished the Supercars community success. Nettlefold thanked Warburton for his leadership and contribution, acknowledging his experience and commitment.
This marks the end of Warburton's second tenure as Supercars CEO, having previously held the position from 2013 to 2017 and returning last year.
