Audi & Mercedes Dominate At Sydney GT World Challenge...

Audi and Mercedes dominated the GT World Challenge Australia qualifying sessions at Sydney Motorsport Park, securing all top five positions in both rounds.
In the first session, Alex Peroni claimed pole position for Audi, leading a front row lockout for Team BRM while Mercedes drivers Jayden Ojeda, Oscar Targett, and Brendon Leitch followed closely behind. The competition remained incredibly tight, with the top three drivers separated by only 0.07 seconds.
Following the first session, driver duties shifted to the Am competitors for Qualifying 2. Shane Smollen secured his first career GT3 pole position in this second session, heading a Tigani Motorsport one-two-three finish with Sergio Pires and Paul Lucchitti. While the top five spots were controlled by Audi and Mercedes entries, other participants competed across Trophy and Am classifications.
The event is scheduled to conclude with Race 1 taking place tonight.
